When our clients are staying abroad for a long time, upon their return to Cyprus they can come up with the situation when the Internet Connection is not working, even though the equipment is connected to the electricity supply and WIFI signal can be found on the devices.
We would like to explaining to you what is the reason of that and what shall be done in such situation.
Why does it happen?
If you do not use the Internet Connection for more than 1 month, the system automatically disconnects you from the company’s network.
What needs to be done?
You need to be reconnected to the company’s network and it is all about the “Reactivation” service! Here are the steps you need to follow, to get your internet connection back:
- Contact us at 25050300
- Tell us the contract number or the phone number which the contract is registered with. In case you lost this information , you should provide the MAC(identification number) address of the router to our e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. We suggest to send a photo of the router in order to avoid any mistyping in the MAC address.
- The operator will check your connection and based on the results of the diagnostics, will inform you whether the technician visit is required or the connection can be restored remotely.
What is the service duration?
Technician visit : 1 hour-1 hour 30 min
Remote equipment setup: 45 min
The technical visit will be planned within 2 working days from the day of the request.
The cost will be 25 euros, or free of charge, if the “Voluntary Block” service was activated earlier.
